Building a Better T

As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.

Why We're Doing This Work

During this closure, we'll replace more than 1,500 feet of track and install Green Line Train Protection System (GLTPS) equipment.

This is the second of four closures that are taking place across the Green Line this year. With 12 days of full access, we'll complete upgrades that would usually require six months of weekend closures.
