Building a Better T
As part of our $9.6 billion, 5-year capital investment plan, we're renovating stations, modernizing fare collection systems, upgrading services for our buses, subways, and ferries, and improving the accessibility of the entire system.
Upcoming Work
Operational testing of the new bus lanes is now underway, and crews are finishing final construction activities.
Service Impacts
To allow for construction, stops may be temporarily relocated or closed through fall 2021. Please follow the posted signs for temporary stop locations and nearest connection points.
Neighborhood Impacts
For safety reasons, there may be occasional lane reductions, parking space removals, and minor detours for pedestrians around work zones.
