Meeting Canceled
On March 10, 2020, the Executive Office of Administration and Finance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts released Coronavirus prevention guidelines for executive branch agencies, which includes the MBTA. Given the evolving nature of COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution, the Commonwealth is adopting precautionary measures effective March 11, 2020 which includes cancellation of discretionary public meetings and gatherings organized by executive branch agencies.
Apologies for any inconvenience the cancellations have caused. The MBTA is committed to public engagement and will work to reschedule canceled meetings as appropriate.

About the Meeting
As a follow-up to the previous public meeting held in August 2019, the MBTA and project team will provide an updated summary of the scope of work, the final design plans and construction schedule for the Worcester Union Station Improvements project, that includes the following:
- A new high-level center platform
- Track, signal, communications and infrastructure upgrades
- New elevators, stairways and pedestrian bridges
- Accessibility improvements to the commuter parking area
During the open house at the start of the meeting, members of the project team will be available to discuss issues and concerns for those attending. Time will be allotted for an additional Q&A session following the presentation.
